Location: Indonesia is a chain of islands called an archipelago in Asia between the Indian Ocean and the Pacific ocean. As shown in the picture it is located above Australia and below the Philippines

Size: Indonesia is 1,904,569 sq km. That is only 23.57% of the size of the US.

Terrain: Since Indonesia is a chain of islands between the Indian Ocean and the Pacific ocean, the majority of the terrain consists of coastal lowlands, however some of the bigger islands contain mountains.
