The majority of Indonesia's climate consists of equatorial tropical, areas that are hot and humid. Although the climate is more moderate in the high lands the climate is fairly consistent throughout the whole country.(CIA World Fact book)

Seasonality

The annual range for temperature in Djakarta is 2 Degrees Celsius, while the annual range of precipitation is 383 mm.  Compared to Denver, Djakarta experiences very low seasonality when it comes to temperature. Djakarta experiences weather that is warmer than Denver.

The annual range for temperature in Medan is 1 Degrees Celsius, while the annual range of precipitation is 187 mm. Compared to Denver Medan experiences even lower seasonality than Djakarta and is also warmer than Denver.

  1. Super interesting how extremely, and similarly, hot it is in the two places in your country, but then how extremely different the precipitation data is. I wonder what affects the radical changes in precipitation like that.
